| NOVEMBER 1, 2023 -- What an accomplished year, with 18 Granges welcoming over 75 new members into the Grange family.
Six of which had a net gain in membership. This then contributed to the CT State Grange posting a net gain in membership for the 2023 second quarter report. In the words of Steve Jobs “Great things are never done by one person, they are done by a team of people.” This is never truer than when it comes to membership. It is not the job of just this committee to retain and invite new members. It is the job of every member of each Grange. Thus, I would like to thank all of you for your hard work and success in making membership a priority in your Grange. It is because of all of you, on the front lines each and every day, opening your Granges and inviting potential new Grange members in. It is your hard work and dedication in every event your Grange hosts, every article written and every interaction that keeps the Grange relevant and in the forefront of people’s minds and hearts.
I empower you to continue the great work you have been doing and invite you to push the boundaries farther by trying something new and expanding on the old, because together we can accomplish great things.
