April 29: Chicken Pot Pie Supper
May 20: Ham and Bean Dinner Busy time for our members. Trying very hard to get new members. Challenge by the President to recruit new members. We will prepare a handout for display of the hours our members contribute. We offer classes for various subjects. Line
dancing is very popular. Corn Hole is held in the upstairs room as well as the return of Yoga. We held a successful Shepherd’s Pie dinner. We will do monthly dinners. These comfort foods are well accepted. The members contribute many hours of community service.
Workday will be to weed the Memorial Garden and yard. We will also participate in the roadside cleanup. Our outside stairs have been installed and will make the upstairs more able to have more occupancy. Thank all those who helped. The upstairs hall has also been repainted and looks great. New LED lights were also installed. The pellet stove is also in use and provides the necessary heat for cold nights downstairs.
We would like to be able to have our meeting hall used as a local community center similar to neighboring towns. Looking forward to all our future events.
