Hillstown Grange is holding a Gardening Workshop on Thursday, March 5, 2020.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The workshop will start at 7 pm. Topics will be care and maintenance of gardening tools; the importance of soil temperatures; heirloom and open pollinated VS hybrid varieties; benefits of no-till gardening; soil testing and why it is important; and seed germination testing. Garden workshops are free and open to the public and for experienced as well as new gardeners. A schedule of topics for future workshops will be available.

Hillstown Grange is located at 617 Hills Street, East Hartford, CT.  Located in the Hillstown corner of East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Manchester, since 1888.  The Grange is one of  the oldest Agricultural groups in the United States.
