SEPTEMBER 19, 2019 -- Winchester Grange is hosting a special music-filled evening on Tuesday, October 22, when they host their annual Music Night Concert, featuring a performance by the Cherry Brook Chimes Bell Choir. The evening will start with a Community Potluck Supper with doors opening at 6:00 PM and the concert following at 7:00 PM. Winchester Grange Hall is located at 100 Newfield Road, Winchester Center, Connecticut.
Organized in 1982, the Cherry Brook Chimes Bell Choir hails from the First Congregational Church of Canton Center, and is directed by Mary Lou Keefe. They not only provide music for regular church services, but perform at various other venues and festivals throughout New England. The choir consists of five octaves of bells and 4 octaves of chimes. The evening will also include performances by vocalist Jerry Alonzy, and guitar and piano solos.
There is no admission charge, but those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the local area food banks. You do not have to be a Grange member to attend - the evening is open to everyone.
