| OCTOBER 5, 2013 -- We would like to thank everyone for the donations for the backpack. We had so many donations that we were able to put together 3 backpacks. Two of the backpacks went to the Youth Services that gave them to needy students. The other went to a family with foster children. We wish them well.
A 39 inch color TV was obtained and donated to a disabled veteran that did not have a TV. Now, he has something to help occupy his time.
We are actively looking for new members with new ideas. Denise and Diane Barbieri will be joining us as new members of Prospect Grange. We would like to welcome you both.
The program for the September 12th meeting was the Harvest Festival with refreshments by Minnie Wolvek and Jean Meehan.
We meet the second Thursday of each month at the Prospect Senior Center at 7:30 p.m. Come join us. |
